Crime doesn’t pay Published Aug. 13, 2010 72nd Air Base Wing TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Courts Martial · On May 20, a master sergeant was acquitted at a general court-martial of rape in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice. · On June 2, an airman basic was found guilty by special court-martial of wrongful use of cocaine and marijuana, in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ. He was sentenced to a Bad Conduct Discharge, confinement for three months and forfeitures of $500 pay per month for three months. · On June 15, an airman was found guilty by special court-martial of wrongful use of cocaine, in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ. He was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeitures of $400 pay per month for six months, five months confinement and a reprimand. · On June 15, a senior airman was found guilty by general court-martial of aggravated sexual assault, in violation of Article 120, UCMJ; committing sodomy with a minor, in violation of Article 125, UCMJ; and service discrediting conduct, in violation of Article 134, UCMJ. He was sentenced to a Dishonorable Discharge, reduction to airman basic, forfeitures of all pay and allowances and 60 months confinement. Article 15 Actions · A senior airman received a reduction to airman first class, a suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for wrongful use of ecstasy. · An airman first class received a suspended reduction to airman, a suspended forfeiture of $811 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for operating a motor vehicle while drunk. · A staff sergeant received a reduction to senior airman, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand for operating a motor vehicle while drunk and in a reckless manner. · A major received a forfeiture of $1,000 pay and a reprimand for two counts of larceny of AAFES merchandise. · An airman received a reduction to airman basic, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand for wrongful use of marijuana. · A senior airman received a reduction to airman first class for falling asleep while being posted as a sentinel. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman, a suspended forfeiture of $400 pay and a reprimand for failing to go to a mandatory physical training session. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman and a reprimand for dereliction of duty for failing to obtain a quarter's slip from the clinic prior to leaving his appointed place of duty. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman for operating a motor vehicle while drunk and in a reckless manner. · A senior airman received a reduction to airman first class for failing to go to a mandatory weapons qualification appointment. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman basic and a reprimand for wrongful use of ecstasy. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman basic and 20 days extra duty for wrongfully using marijuana. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman, a suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for underage drinking and being drunk and disorderly on station. · A first lieutenant received a forfeiture of $1,801 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for larceny of AAFES merchandise. · A technical sergeant received a reduction to staff sergeant and a suspended forfeiture of $1,462 pay per month for two months for wrongful use of marijuana. · A senior airman received a reduction to airman first class, 15 days extra duty and reprimand for operating a motor vehicle while drunk. · An airman first class received a reduction to airman, a suspended forfeiture of $811 pay and a reprimand for larceny of AAFES merchandise. · A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to senior airman, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for failing to report for duty. Administrative Discharges · A senior airman received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct -- minor disciplinary infractions, including underage drinking, false official statement and failure to go. · A senior airman received an Honorable discharge for Mental Disorders -- personality disorder and adjustment disorder. · An airman first class received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct -- drug abuse after receiving a letter of reprimand for wrongfully using marijuana. · An airman basic received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct -- minor disciplinary infractions, including wrongful use of government travel card and false official statements. · An airman received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct -- minor disciplinary infractions, including failure to go on numerous occasions. · An airman basic received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct -- minor disciplinary infractions, including failure to obey a lawful order and sleeping on post. · An airman received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) discharge for misconduct - minor disciplinary infractions and unsatisfactory performance - failure to meet minimum fitness standards. Some of the misconduct included: failure to go on numerous occasions.
