Tinker sergeants inducted as Senior NCOs Published Aug. 6, 2010 By Master Sgt. Scott Kelly 33rd Combat Communications Squadron TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Transition to the senior non-commissioned officer rank is a crucial part of an enlisted members career. Sixty-eight master sergeants from Tinker were inducted into the senior noncommissioned officer corps July 23 during an annual ceremony at the Tinker Club. The banquet marks the completion of a five day Professional Enhancement Seminar designed to provide the next level of information to Tinker's newest senior noncommissioned officers. Master Sgts. Dana Reynolds and Christopher Fry, Tinker's Career Assistance Advisors, facilitated the course instruction. The event was hosted by the 72nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Bob Labrutta. The annual induction ceremony was sponsored by the Tinker Top 3. Master Sgts. Matt Johnson, of the 552nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and Nickie J. Moreno, of the 72nd Mission Support Squadron, served as chairpersons of the banquet committee. The evening's theme was, "Embracing Change and Developing Leaders"and it was emceed by Master Sgts. Rickie L. Gress, of the 76th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and Larae L. Chapman, of the 72nd Dental Squadron. Following the guest speaker, a candle lighting ceremony was performed by Master Sgt. Scott Kelly of the 33rd Combat Communications Squadron, Senior Master Sgt. Anthony Hairston of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, and Chief Master Sgt.
