Team Tinker organizing for Air Force Marathon Published Aug. 6, 2010 72nd Force Support Squadron Marketing TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Runners are starting to organize themselves into this year's version of "Team Tinker" to compete in the Air Force Marathon held Sept. 18 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The marathon, now in its 11th year, has grown both in stature and the size of the field competing in the competition to the point where it is now recognized as a "must-event" for military folks who take their passion for running seriously. John "Nick" Morrison and Erik Jones are heading up the effort to organize the Tinker contingent.
