The DISA intramural softball team informally renamed their June 8 opponents, as they earned two handy wins Tuesday night. DISA suggested, in their dominance in the field and at the plate, that their opponents should be called the Cow Tipped instead of the Cow Tippers.

DISA won their doubleheader easily, putting the Cow Tippers down 14-6 after five innings, enacting the run rule.

The Cow Tippers kept It close for the first three and a half innings, holding the score at 5-4 in DISA's favor. But then DISA found their sweet spot from the batter's box, employing the gusty wind to launch some deep outfield shots. It was 8-4 at the end of the third.

DISA scored three more in the fourth, while holding the Cow Tippers to zero runs. It looked like the bovine bats had come alive in the fifth, with three runs from the Cow Tippers to put them at six runs. But DISA's four runs squelched any hopes of a comeback. DISA had fired up the grill and beef was on the menu as they clinched the win 14-6 after five innings.
