Ms. Roberts works with Tinker senior leaders on a regular basis and many other on and off base organizations while organizing chapel responses to requests. She positively impacted more than 35 different groups. She also filled in as the 72nd Air Base Wing commander's secretary. Chaplain (Capt.) Scott Nupson Senior Protestant Chaplain 72nd ABW Chapel staff Chaplain Nupson provided leadership during the ORI, keeping chapel staff focused on mission accomplishments and support to all of Tinker AFB. His "lean-forward attitude" paid off when the wing chaplain became ill and missed the first two-days of ORI. He met every challenge with zero lapses in coverage of chapel responses to events. He prepared a chaplain's assistant to man deployment function during chaplain's absence. His efforts led to him being named "Outstanding Performer." He scheduled duty chaplain coverage, including Navy and activated Reserve chaplains, to meet the crisis and spiritual needs of Tinker's community through 29 prayer requests and 10 emergency calls.
