Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Family Days for 2010 have been announced. May 28, July 2 and Sept. 3, 2010, are liberal leave dates and liberal leave policies will be in effect for civilian employees.

Nov. 26, 2010, is a holiday closure day and non-essential civilian employees should plan to take leave.

Employees may elect to use annual leave, leave without pay, credit hours, time-off award, compensatory time, advanced or donated leave based on what is appropriate and available. Supervisors should only post the type of leave suitable for the circumstances. For example, a supervisor should only grant requested sick leave if the employee's absence meets the criteria established for that reason.Contractor employees must adhere to their respective contract requirements and obtain direction from their employer on designated OC-ALC Family Days.

For more information, supervisors should contact their unit's employee relations specialist at 739-2262 for the maintenance employee relations section or 739-7516 for the non-maintenance employee relations section.

Commanders/directors may authorize non-chargeable leave for military members for AFMC Family Days. Normal rules for regular pass and leave apply and appear in DoDD 1327.5, Leave and Liberty, and AFI 36-3003, Military Leave Program. For military information, call Capt. Christina Reyes at 739-2981.
