The 76th Maintenance Wing is holding its quarterly competition to recognize work centers for innovative improvements that make them better, cleaner, safer, more organized and more efficient through 6S implementation. Nominations are being accepted until Oct. 23.

Last quarter, the 76th MXW distributed a total of $900 to 18 employees, representing winning organizations in three categories: Industrial, Storage and Office. In past quarters, employees have received more than $2,400 in award money for implementing their creative ideas to better control their offices, shops and storage areas.

To submit your work center, please follow these two steps:
1. Perform a 6S event in your unit/flight or work center.
2. Nominate your unit/flight or work center by email to the applicable Group or Staff 6S lead by close of business Oct. 23.

No written package is needed. Just submit the names of the work center, supervisor and 6S team members. Inspections will be held shortly after the deadline.
