Meagan Gomez
Unaccompanied Housing Superintendent
72nd Civil Engineer Directorate

Ms. Gomez works to improve the living conditions of Airmen in unaccompanied housing. She is the subject-matter expert on a Black Belt project led by 72nd Air Base Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Eric Harmon. She developed an improved tool to project in-and-out-bound personnel for better management of assets. Her participation and involvement led directly to project success. Ms. Gomez spearheaded a program to identify dormitory occupants at the two-year mark and make training available to them on subjects ranging from budgeting to house hunting so they would be successful when they moved off base.

Rhonda Balsley
Team Lead, Service Contracts
72nd Civil Engineer Directorate

Ms. Balsley served as the team lead and mentor for six Tinker program assurance specialists. She met customer requirements and provided oversight for seven high-visibility contracted installation support operations valued at $45.7 million. She was the point person on implementing the Air Force direction on the "Big Three" contracts for common service on "grounds maintenance, custodial, and integrated solid waste management contracts" affecting the entire Tinker work force.

Ms. Balsley ensured the continuity of CE service operations--led planning on protective coating, painting BPA, industrial waste collection, washer/dryers, and custodial acquisitions--finalized approach to secure 5-years ($29M) of contractual support. She teamed with Resources Management Division to secure current year and out-year funding--coordinated hundreds of funding actions to facilitate execution of task orders and contract modifications on 11 contracts.

Karen Dennis
Stock Control Clerk
72nd Logistics Readiness Squadron

Ms. Dennis initiated and monitored AFMAN 23-110 required supply discrepancy reports to ensure proper billing credit to Base Supply customer accounts. She ensured follow-up action was taken on all Tinker submitted SDRs until a resolution was achieved. Ms. Dennis submitted more than 200 SDRs in fiscal 2008 to the various Sources of Supply and accounted for $255,000 on behalf of Tinker's Base Supply customers. Her persistence in working the SDR process credited Tinker customers with $135,865 for items billed to Tinker Base Supply customers but never received. She also provided HQ AFMC/A4R with a semi-annual analysis of the progress of the SDR program at Tinker. Ms. Dennis also served as the 72 LRS point of contact for Quality Deficiency Reports.
