Members of the Tinker Boxing Club are gearing up for rematch with boxers from Fort Sill and the Navy.

The event begins at 7 p.m. today at the Gerrity Fitness and Sports Center. Doors open at 6 p.m.

"Each time we host a boxing smoker the competition is better and better," said Steve Thomason, Gerrity Fitness and Sports Center director of operations.

The reorganized team is now headed by Lavell Sims, who brings a wealth of boxing knowledge and skill to the Tinker side.

"Our team is more focused and on task for this smoker," said Sims.

Those in attendance can see hard-hitting 119-pound Lisandra D'Agostino defend her 2009 Tinker Champion title.

José Robles will also be defending his 2009 Tinker Championship title.

Charlie Floyd will be fighting to regain his 2008 Tinker champion title.

Four-time defending base heavyweight champion Theodore Morse will also be featured in a bout.

Others on the card are Luke Nelson, Daniel Logan and Cameron Johnson.
