Exercising the Herd
Lt. Gen. Norman Seip watches 3rd Combat Communications Group Airmen in an exercise scenario during the 12th Air Force commander’s visit to the Herd last week. General Seip will retire in October after commanding 12th Air Force for three years. He came to Tinker to visit and thank and the Airmen for their service. While here, he watched their upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection preparations and coined several outstanding performers. Inside the Command Focal Point, a command and control center, Tech. Sgt. Russell McLaughlin, standing, all with the 32nd Combat Communications Squadron, coordinate the status of communications activities in a hostile environment.
