In a rematch of teams from the Oklahoma City Adult Hockey League Division II title game, the Jets came out on top of a 7-2 victory over the Tinker Nordiques.

The Jets, capitalizing on offensive opportunities en route to their second win in the Summer League, scored the first two goals of the game and never looked back. The Nordiques' lone goals were scored by James McCarron and Jason Stefanski.

"We played hard and skated well despite our team being shorthanded tonight," said McCarron. The Nordiques are trying to work several new players into the rotation and that could explain the two losses to start the season.

"Although the score does not indicate it, our team is starting to gel together and by playoff time we will be a well-oiled machine," said McCarron.

The three Tinker stars of the game were McCarron, who had a goal and an assist; Stefanski, with one goal; and Lewis Lomanaco, a defenseman who provided a spark along the blue line.
