Customer Appreciation Week starts Sunday

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  The 72nd Force Support Squadron has set next week aside as Customer Appreciation Week. The week is dedicated to customers as a way of saying "thank you" for choosing the 72nd FSS.

During Customer Appreciation Week, several 72nd FSS facilities will have daily specials. Customers can also enter a drawing for a chance to win a prize. 

Outdoor Recreation (Equipment Checkout):
-- Rent any item on Wednesday and return it by 11:30 a.m. June 8 and receive the weekend rate. Pools:
-- Free admission during open swim at Gerrity and Iszard Pools from Sunday to June 6 

Information, Tickets and Travel:
-- $1 off movie passes and $1 off yearly zoo passes Golf course:
-- Sunday and June 6, buy a 24-ounce soft drink for the price of a 16-ounce drink.
-- Chopped barbecue sandwich, one side and drink for $4 Monday through Friday 

Child Development Centers:
-- Assorted bagels, cream cheese and orange juice Monday
-- Homemade muffins and coffee Tuesday
-- Fresh fruit and yogurt Wednesday
-- Fruit danish and coffee Thursday
-- Assorted donuts and chocolate milk June 5 

Tinker Club:
-- "Party on the Patio" with complimentary burgers and hotdogs for club members only from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday 

Tinker Bowling Center:
-- Free soda upgrade from small to medium or medium to large Sunday to Thursday
-- Bowling Bash from 1 to 5 p.m. June 6. Cost is 50 cents per game and 50 cents for shoe rental.
-- Register all week for a chance to win a free bowling ball. The drawing will take place at 5 p.m. June 6. 

Tinker Library:
-- "Double DVD Days" Customers can check out six DVDs for two weeks, instead of the normal three DVDs for one week. 

Vanwey Recreation Center:
-- Free giveaways for first 10 and last five customers Monday
-- Half price on all sodas Tuesday
-- Raffle with free prizes Wednesday
-- Live entertainment, "Spoke Word & Band" Thursday Arts and Crafts Center:
-- Additional 25 percent off all clearance items at the Gift Corner in Bldg. 3001
-- 10 percent off all scheduled oil changes at the Auto Shop
-- Buy one Red Dirt pottery piece and receive the second pottery piece of equal or lesser value at 50 percent off (of equal or lesser value) at the Services Mall 

Airman and Family Readiness Center:
-- Free popcorn and A&FRC pens Youth Center:
-- Youth Center stickers, handouts from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday
-- Coffee and muffins for parents from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday
-- Frozen treats from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday
-- Family Dinner Night with hot dogs, chips and watermelon from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday
-- Free popcorn from 3:30 to 6 p.m. June 5 Fitness centers:
-- First 40 people to enter Gerrity Fitness and Sports Center from 9 to 11 a.m. June 5 will receive a free water bottle 

Vanwey Dining Facility:
-- Drawing for a prize, provided by Dale Rogers, to be given away. Customers will fill out entries for a drawing that will be held at the end of the week.
-- Drawings will be held each day for a "Pick a Pie" to be given away. Customers will be able to chose between a variety of pies.
-- Surf and Turf, open to retirees, Thursday
-- Free cake for all customers June 5
