Soccer players from the 552nd Maintenance Squadron used their speed and depth to gain a 6-0 victory over the 32nd Combat Communications Squadron April 23 at the Airman Leadership School Soccer Pitch.

The first 20 minutes of the game were tight and both teams struggled to get the ball into the net. The 552nd MXS got on the board first as striker Jordan Hayes intercepted the ball at midfield, raced in the penalty box area and rifled a shot into the left corner of the net.

The 552nd MXS team kept up its offensive pace as midfielder Michael Rosenthal sent a long pass to Hayes, who raced in and tipped the ball past the keeper to make the score 2-0 at 34:23. The 552nd MXS scored goals in the second half at a quick pace, as they added three goals within the first 15 minutes of the half.

Rosenthal, Hayes, and Seth Lafon were the scorers for MXS.

The win ended a two-game losing streak for 552nd MXS and improved their record to 5-3-0, while the loss dropped the 32nd CCS to 2-4-1.
