Commander's Action Line: Questions about Eaker gate Published April 16, 2009 By 72nd Air Base Wing TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla., -- Q:I come in the Eaker gate every morning around 6:30 a.m., there are many cars that come in and then turn around heading back north. There is a sign in the middle of the road that means no turn around. But they continue to do it. With so many people coming in this can create an accident. A:There is a "no U-turn" sign posted just past the entry of the gate. If you notice personnel making illegal U-turns at that location, contact the Force Protection Operations Center to file a traffic complaint. If possible, retain the license plate of the vehicle witnessed. Security Forces Squadron will work to increase patrols in this area during the problem hours.
