Honoring 40 years of service
Friends and coworkers congratulate Semore Bethley , looking at his 40-year certificate presented recently in a ceremony by Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Commander Maj. Gen. P. David Gillett Jr. in Bldg. 3001. The general thanked the machinist work leader for his long career and presented Mr. Bethley with a 40-year pin. Mr. Bethley joined the Air Force in 1968, serving at Tinker as his last active-duty station in 1975. Shortly afterwards, he began his civil service career here and has worked as a machinist on a variety of engines including the J57, TF33 and F100. He now uses his years of experience in the Compressor Disks and Airseals Cell and says the transformation of the F100 is one of the biggest changes he can recall happening at Tinker.(Air Force photo/Margo Wright)
