If so, hurry over to the Tinker Club or go online to www.tinkerservices.com for an entry form. Applications are due by April 2. Officials deemed last year's event a success and anticipate this year's to be even better. Every seat was full for the semi-finals and finals at the Tinker Club last year. Crowds were standing in the back for one of 2008's most entertaining events at the club. There were more than 40 performers last year and officials are looking for even more to sign up this year. "We expect an even larger crowd and are prepared and excited for Season 2," said Amanda McGovern, one of the program coordinators for this year's event. Along with the basewide fame, the top three finalists will receive prize money. Sign up by logging on to www.tinkerservices.com or pick up a form at the Tinker Club. Completed forms must be dropped off in the Tinker Club Catering Office by close of business April 2. Contestants must be 18 or older to participate and can be active duty military, spouses, retirees, reservists or contractors. Anyone with a Department of Defense ID card is welcome to participate. The event is free. Prizes will be awarded for first through third places. First place wins $500, second place takes home $300 and third place receives $200. Tinker Federal Credit Union and First National Bank are both sponsoring the event.
