Problem solving course available to Tinker

Rose State college now offers a class for Tinker employees to receive specific problem-solving training with no cost to their organizations. Attendees will receive three undergraduate credit hours upon completion.

Course BA 2532 - Problem Solving in Business, provides basic tools and techniques to apply critical thinking and Root Cause Analysis for decision making. Real world and workplace scenarios provide practical applications in determining when a problem exists, defining that problem and identifying what caused the problem. Students will gain an understanding of how to apply problem-solving tools to minimize, contain or eradicate undesired results.

Students will prepare information to assist them and the decision makers in day-to-day operational activities. Additionally, students will gain insight into how problem solving and RCA integrates with Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century and the Eight-Step Problem Solving Process model.
