Airman excels on career exam Published Jan. 15, 2009 By Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla., -- Airman 1st Class Ryan Merrill, 34th Combat Communications Squadron, recently passed his Career Development Course: Satellite, Wideband, and Telemetry Systems Journeyman, with an outstanding score. Airman Merrill is a Satcom crewmember. He helps maintain, configure and operate a variety of mobile, tactical satellite and wideband communications terminals. "I believe you get back what you put in. I worked hard to understand the many systems encountered in my career field. When you get a question on the test and you don't know the answer off the top of your head, a good understanding of how the equipment operates will help you in the process of elimination to get to the correct answer," said Airman Merrill.
