Gary Krebsbach assumed command as director of the 76th Maintenance Support Group on Dec. 23.

"Mr. Krebsbach is clearly the right person for the job, he will take care of the members of the 76th Maintenance Group and lead them into further excellence," said Brig. Gen. Judith Fedder, 76th Maintenance Wing commander at the time of the ceremony.

Mr. Krebsbach was already a part of the Tinker family. Before his selection as 76th MXSG director, he served as the director of Depot Maintenance Transformation, Quality and Safety Division of the 76th MXW. He was responsible for quality and safety across the wing, which included handling a $500 million, 10 year effort to transform and modernize the depot into a world-class operation.

"This air logistics center has accomplished great things this year. We recently received the Air Force Outstanding Unit award. Throughout the year we have also been awarded other team and individual awards. The work we do here at Tinker supports the warfighters and our nation," said Mr. Krebsbach.

Mr. Krebsbach entered civil service with the Air Force in 1995 as a flight manual manager working a variety of aircraft manuals.

"Tinker is the largest of the air logistics centers, and to keep this huge engine running smoothly requires a lot of oil. The oil that keeps this Maintenance Wing operating is the men and women of the Maintenance Support Group," said Mr. Krebsbach. "The support group maintains the equipment, facilities and tools that allow Tinker to produce the aircraft, engines and commodities that continue to ensure our freedom."

Throughout his Tinker career, Mr. Krebsbach has served as program manager for the C-20 and E-4 programs. As well as team lead on C-9 and KC-10 fleets, Division Chief Special Air Mission for the Contractor Logistics Support Directorate, director of the Acquisition Center of Excellence and deputy director of Plans and Programs.

"I look forward to working side-by-side with each of you to continue the great work you have already accomplished and will continue to accomplish in the future."
