2009 Family Days announced Published Dec. 5, 2008 By Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Family Days for 2009 have been announced. Feb. 13, May 22 and Sept. 4, 2009 are liberal leave dates and liberal leave policy will be in effect for civilian employees. Nov. 27, 2009 is a holiday closure day and civilian employees should plan for approved leave. Employees may elect annual, leave without pay, credit hours, time-off award, earned compensatory time, advanced or donated leave based on what is appropriate and available. Supervisors should only post the type leave suitable for the circumstances. For example, a supervisor should only grant requested sick leave if the employee's absence meets the criteria established for that reason. Commanders/directors may authorize non-chargeable leave for military members for AFMC Family Days.
