A Senior Airman received an Article 15 in July 2007 for showing disrespect and being argumentative when asked by her supervisor to perform tasks. The punishment she received included a suspended reduction to A1C and suspended forfeiture of $864. Almost six months later, the Senior Airman failed to report to work at the time prescribed. Her commander vacated the suspended punishment for violating the conditions of her suspension which resulted in the reduction in rank to Airman First Class and the forfeiture of $864. Second chances! A Staff Sgt. received an Article 15 in October 2007 for misuse of her Government Travel Card. The punishment she received included a suspended reduction to Senior Airman and 30 days extra duty. Three months later, she drove a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Her commander vacated the suspended punishment for violating the conditions of her suspension which resulted in the reduction in rank to Senior Airman. Just say NO to porn! A Senior Airman stored pornographic and sexually explicit images on his government computer. He received a reduction to Airman First Class and 45 days extra duty. Pay attention to 0-0-1-3 While TDY, a Senior Airman had wisely taken a taxi cab to base after an evening of drinking. However, upon arrival at base, the Senior Airman would not pay the driver nor exit the vehicle. The driver asked Security Forces members to assist with the situation. After numerous attempts to get the Senior Airman to pay the driver, he acquiesced. Security Forces then told the Senior Airman he needed to exit the vehicle; the Senior Airman made no attempt at doing so. The Security Forces officer repeated the order and after a few moments the Senior Airman exited the vehicle. Security Forces officers asked the Senior Airman if he would be able to safely return to his room. The Senior Airman began cursing and spitting. The Senior Airman was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct and continued to be disrespectful throughout the process. The Senior Airman received a suspended reduction to Airman First Class, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand for being disrespectful toward a commissioned officer and a superior noncommissioned officer and for drunk and disorderly conduct. Integrity First Two Airmen needed to complete and pass fitness tests before PCSing. Their fitness leader, a Senior Airman, altered their run times so they would receive passing scores. The Senior Airman received a suspended reduction to Airmen First Class and 14 days extra duty for falsifying two PT tests. They used a government vehicle to go to a local bar and eatery. After eating and consuming alcoholic beverages, they decided it was time to return to base. The government vehicle was eventually pulled over by local police and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. The passenger was taken back to base by Security Forces. The driver received a suspended reduction to Senior Airman and forfeiture of $1,018 pay per month for two months and the passenger received a suspended reduction to Senior Airman for driving a government vehicle to a bar to consume alcohol.
