Mark Correll, 72nd Air Base Wing Commander, recently awarded wing members with the Commander's Wildcatter Award. Carol Jean Enloe was awarded the Wildcatter Award for her work as a gardener with TRACE Inc for the 72nd Civil Engineering Squadron. Ms Enloe possesses a genuine passion for the care of all plant life on Tinker AFB. In doing so, the government QAE has received seven written acknowledgements from base customers for work she has performed in 2007. This employee's dependability speaks for itself as she has missed only one day of work this calendar year. Her dedication is equally remarkable for the many base customers who witness her performing her job no matter what the weather conditions may be. It is not uncommon to see Carol at Tinker on weekends during the hot summer months to check on her plants and water them if needed even though it's on her own time. Saves resources by cultivating 75% of the annual flowering plants at the contractor facility as well as relocating shrubs affected by force protection directives to other locations. Works closely with the Natural Resource Manager for the proper care for all plant life with emphasis on native plants and grasses Coordinates and effectively performs litter control for all Distinguished Visitors and special events. She was acknowledged by the 552 ACW for the extraordinary efforts to beautify Connie Park prior to the AWACS 30th Anniversary Ceremony and coined by the Director of Services for bed maintenance at Indian Hills Lodging prior to the 2007 Air Force Innkeeper Inspection. Carol Hill was awarded the Wildcatter Award for her work as a MFH Privatization Program Manager for the 72d Civil Engineering directorate. Ms Hill coordinated and worked tirelessly on one of the most critical programs in CE. She championed Military Family Housing (MFH) privatization on Tinker and with HQ AFMC, AFCEE, and SAF/A7. She also represented TAFB in programming meetings, source selections and put the program back on-track. Carol did incredible work pulling together the entire team to meet critical MFH privatization deadlines and coordinated community planning, utility, security, fire and MFH aspects into the Request for Proposal. She also responded to numerous suspenses with accurate, timely data and base preferences. She also captured and communicated Team Tinker preferences for desired features. Ms. Hill has kept communications open by writing several Tinker Take-Off articles that kept the housing community informed. She developed e-mails and briefings that kept leadership informed and involved in key decisions. She did excellent work setting up a web page and responding to issues and briefed several DV's and tour groups on need for program and status of our efforts.
