Happy Leap Day!
Did you know that a person born on Leap Year Day is known as a "leapling?" Are you looking for something to do this day? You could visit the Leap Year Capital of the World: Anthony, Texas. Anthony is on the border of Texas and New Mexico between El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruses, New Mexico. They have a four-day festival to celebrate those born on Feb. 29. This year's festival is their sixth; it began in 1988. They have had people from all 50 states and as far away as Germany and Switzerland attend their festival.
On the shelf: The library has a wide selection of books, audiocassettes, CDs and DVDs. Patrons may checkout a total of three DVDs or VHS movies for seven days.
Ten audiovisual materials, including CDs, books on CD, audiocassettes and non-fiction VHS tapes, may be checked out for three weeks.
   New DVDs include:
   "3:10 to Yuma"
"Alfred Hitchcock: 4 Spine-tingling Films from the Master of Suspense"
   "The Game Plan"
   "Saw IV: It's A Trap"
   "Superbad"
