Two month pre-deployment exercises come to a close

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE -- Members of the Air Force Materiel Command met last week for Phase II of their pre-deployment training. Participating members included the 72nd Air Base Wing, 31st Combat Communications group, 76th MXW/EN, Chapel and 507th Services Flight.
   "This three day exercise helps the groups refine their crafts in different fields before deployment," stated Mr. Jonny Conover, 72nd ABW/XPO,
   The group underwent several scenarios during the three day exercise, which was one day shorter than a regular exercise. A few scenarios that the groups encountered were: mortar attacks, sniper attacks, rocket attacks, massive injuries, members with severe spiritual needs, suicidal personnel needing to be accompanied to chapel tent and more.
   The pre-deployment process for these members began Jan. 18 and came to a close Feb. 14, nearly a month long process.
