Be sure to sign up at the front desk for the upcoming special story times. Next week, the Tinker Library will celebrate Children's Dental Health Month on Tuesday and National Tooth Fairy Day on Thursday. Tuesday's story time is at 10 a.m. while Thursday's is at 4 p.m. Stop by each week for wonderful time at the library.
   On the shelf: The library has a wide selection of books, audiocassettes, CDs and DVDs. Patrons may checkout a total of three DVDs or VHS movies for seven days. Ten audiovisual materials, including CDs, books on CD, audiocassettes and non-fiction VHS tapes, may be checked out for three weeks.
   New children's books include:

   The Tinker Library catalog is available online at www.tinkerservices.com. Once you have entered onto the Services site, click on the library's page. From there, click the highlighted URL address to look up everything from books, books on tape and CD, music and DVDs.
   Library patrons are invited to make request for their favorite book, CDs and DVDs. The library staff needs as much information as possible on the item such as title, author and ISBN number.
   Those out-processing are reminded to stop by the library to make sure they have turned in all of the library's items.
   The library opens weekdays at 8 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 5 p.m. on Fridays. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
