Tinker Youth Programs is one of more than 4,400 clubs affiliated with Boys and Girls Clubs of America across the country joined in a search to identify talented young artists. In December, the Tinker Youth Programs hosted a local art exhibit, "The Young and Talented" as part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America's National Fine Arts Exhibit program. The program consists of a competition at the local level, then regional level, and a limited number of original works being sent to Boys and Girls Clubs of America's Atlanta headquarters for judging at the national level.
Youth were able to submit artwork in 4 age divisions and 10 categories, including watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic and collage. More than 60 pieces of artwork was collected from area youth in the various categories for "The Young and Talented" art exhibit. After judging, a total of 19 pieces of artwork was selected to be sent to the regional level for a chance at the national level in Atlanta. The 19 pieces of artwork selected to be sent to the regional level are from Gavin Fleck, Rachel Wilsey, Sese Burk, Kali Hutton, Christian Schares, Rebecca Wilsey, Alyssa Bernal, Carmin Palmer, Brianna Zenzen, Tim Wilsey, Angela Manno, Tessa Conners, Kiani Hyde, Taylor Wilson, Alexis Rhinehart and Arielle Arnold.
