A taste of culture

EPAF is a F16/F100 partnership created between the United States Air Force and the air forces from Belgium, Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands in 1975. Portugal joined the team in 2000; however, Denmark and Portugal don't have representatives at Tinker. To celebrate the collaboration with the 540th Combat Sustainment Squadron and to share culinary culture, the organizers exchanged their computers for pans and cookers and prepared some traditional dishes from their home countries. Belgian chocolates and waffles, Dutch cookies and candies, Norwegian chocolates and rice cream were also offered. Organizers said the event was a success with many people who tasted the different foods. (Photo by Patrick Guns)
