Local auditions for Tops In Blue set for Sept. 22

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE --  The 72nd Services Division is coordinating local auditions for this year's Tops In Blue competition.
   To help applicants prepare their entertainer audition tape and polish their act, a base-level talent contest and taping will be held with the Family and Teen Talent Contest at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 in the base theater.
   The sign-up deadline for the Tops In Blue base-level program is Sept. 15. Rehearsal times are 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 18 and 20 at the base theater.
   Base-level application packages will be forwarded to the Air Force Services Agency, where Entertainment Branch personnel will review all application and videos. Individuals who display the best talent will be invited to compete at the worldwide talent contest.
   Both entertainers and support staff are needed. Bus drivers; stage, light and sound technicians; wardrobe and costume coordinators, choreographers and vocal assistants and entertainers have a chance to compete at the worldwide competition and possible earn the opportunity to tour with Tops In Blue.
