TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Col. Abby Ruscetta, 72nd Air Base Wing commander, Maj. Michael Kazakoff, 72nd ABW Comptroller Squadron commander, and 72nd ABW First Sergeant Alaina Ramos conducted an Open Ranks Inspection on Wing Staff Agencies Airmen, Oct. 16, 2024, at Tinker Air Force Base.
The ORI is a military tradition that assesses morale and discipline. Inspectors focus on Class A uniform compliance, customs, courtesies, and appearance standards and provide immediate feedback and corrections. The ORI showcases adherence to Ruscetta’s Mission Type Order.
“The purpose of this order is to foster an organization that values the Profession of Arms and is committed to building a cohesive, disciplined, lethal, and professional force,” said Ruscetta. “We have standards and we are in the business of lethality, and we must hold ourselves accountable to our Air Force standards. We maintain operational effectiveness by complying with these standards.”
The ORI aimed to ensure adherence to dress and appearance standards, putting the MTO into immediate action. It highlighted how the 72nd ABW Airmen are dedicated to upholding military standards and further promoted professionalism and discipline among them.
