TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Tinker Air Force Base hosted a Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremony Nov. 6 at the Tinker Event Center.
The ceremony recognized Airmen who graduated from Spring 2023 to Fall 2024.
There were 157 CCAF graduates -- who contributed to a legacy of nearly 600,000 degrees in the program’s history. The graduates represent many Air Force commands on base to include: Air Force Materiel Command, Air Combat Command, Air Education and Training Command, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard.
Along with their college diploma, graduates can take pride in graduating from the world's largest degree granting institution of higher learning. CCAF is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Beyond the personal benefits and education a CCAF degree gives these Airmen, it also benefits the Air Force and nation because the Airmen continue their service and country long after they leave active duty.
The graduates also had the opportunity to earn scholarships from different organizations including the Air and Space Forces Association, The Central Oklahoma Gerrity Chapter, Tinker Top Three Group and the Tinker Chiefs Group.
