76th Commodities Maintenance Group welcomes new commander

Col. William "Brad" Burrous succeeded Col. Eric Quidley as commander of the 76th Commodities Maintenance Group in a change of command ceremony held here June 5, 2025.

Brig. Gen. Brian Moore, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex commander, presided over the ceremony.

Moore addressed Quidley’s successes to the Group, highlighting the achievements under his command. “The 76th CMXG performs daily miracles to sustain supportability across the organic industrial base at full throttle,” Moore said. “You have consistently prioritized the warfighter by producing world-class components, like deploying the Global Enterprise Network for Universal Sustainment and advanced manufacturing, and we are proud of the work you and your team have produced the last two years.”

Quidley was awarded the Legion of Merit during the ceremony and addressed his group for the final time, citing their many achievements before addressing the incoming commander.

“As this group continues to push boundaries, know the sky is the limit for traditional and advanced manufacturing,” said Quidley. “This is a tremendous team.”

Burrous addressed his group for the first time, citing his optimism for taking command of the Group. It is truly an honor to join such an outstanding team,” said Burrous. “Each member of the 76th Commodities Maintenance Group is crucial to the success of this group and readiness of our Air Force.”

The 76th Commodities Maintenance Group directs, manages, and operates organic depot level maintenance facilities in the repair and overhaul of Air Force, Navy, and Foreign Military Sales aircraft and engine parts to serviceable condition. The 76th CMXG also serves as the Air Force Technology Repair Center for air and fuel accessories, constant speed drives, and oxygen related components.
