During the recent government shutdown, the 412th Civil Engineer Group conducted a series of live-fire training exercises to enhance Airmen readiness, encompassing structural and nighttime aircraft fire scenarios. The training provides crucial hands-on experience in combating various types of fires, ensuring firefighters and 412th Test Wing leaders are prepared for real-world emergencies. Such rigorous training is essential for maintaining the Air Force's ability to respond effectively to fires, protecting personnel and vital assets while safeguarding the mission, regardless of external circumstances.
