TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, Oklahoma is pulling out all the stops for the Freedom 250 celebrations. From classic small-town fireworks displays and Route 66 festivals to grand orchestral performances, there are events across the state designed to commemorate this historic milestone. Below is a selection of Freedom 250 events scheduled to occur around Oklahoma 4th of July weekend as well as later this summer and fall. A number of fly-overs are also scheduled to occur:*
