Pharmacy, drive-thru to close for Independence Day

The Tinker Pharmacy and drive-thru will be closed on July 4 and 5 in observance of Independence Day. Pharmacy services will re-open at 9 a.m. July 6 after training day.
Starting the week of June 27 through July 15, pharmacy patrons will most likely experience longer than normal wait times to drop off and pick up prescriptions.

The pharmacy staff asks that those who do not have an emergent situation and don't need the medication the same day to use the drop boxes or the drive-thru to drop off prescriptions. Prescriptions dropped off will be due the next duty day after noon.

Same day prescription activations will still stop at 3:30 p.m. daily. Patrons may drop their perscriptions off and they will be ready the next duty day after noon.

Refill due out times will also be adjusted during this time period. Patrons may wait up to one week for their refills to be completed, so plan trips accordingly. The pharmacy staff asks that patrons calling the refill line at 734-5514 listen carefully to the messages and when their refills are due to be completed.  Refill orders will not be rushed for those who show up early.

Also, the Pharmacy will not be making any exceptions to the refill call-in policy during this time frame. The mandatory call-in policy stands and patrons will be directed to call the refill line to put in their prescriptions.

The 72nd Medical Group strives strive to give Tinker personnel their best service every day and thanks everyone for their patience during the holidays.
