Two Airmen with the 72nd Air Base Wing were recently honored with Wildcatter Awards.

Staff Sgt. David Trevino, Airman Leadership School instructor with the 72nd Force Support Squadron, is the newest cadre member at Tinker ALS.

In addition to qualifying on 192 hours of curriculum in a single class, his initiative led him to take charge of the ALS's Enlisted Heritage Hall.

After a relentless pursuit of Air Force memorabilia, he resourcefully collected a complete uniform from Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force No. 15 Rodney McKinley, a mannequin and a display case. The finished exhibit pays tribute to Air Force leadership and was lauded by the Air Force Sustainment Center command chief.

Not stopping there, Sergeant Trevino still found time to improve the ALS PT program, host a Tinker movie night, lead the Community College of the Air Force graduation protocol team, and serve on a Network 5/6 Airman's Panel. Sergeant Trevino's unique tenacity makes him one of the most valued members of the ALS team.

Staff Sgt. David Theophilos, Equal Opportunity Office, exemplified his dedication to learn while in seven-level upgrade and still found ways to improve and expand on the EO office's existing programs.

Sergeant Theophilos' ingenuity was instrumental in creating and developing an in-depth Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute Organizational Climate Survey step-by-step training guide that provided standardization and continuity for 12 Equal Opportunity office personnel.

Sergeant Theophilos also administered the DEOCS to 30 squadrons with 6,690 personnel. Moreover, his keen eye for detail identified human relations climate trends and developed action plans for 30 commanders and directors.

Furthermore, Sergeant Theophilos completed a demanding eight hour advanced counselor's course. His professionalism and persistence allowed him to hone conflict resolution skills that ensured the prevention of one military and 15 civilian complaints saving the base over $408,750.

Additionally, Sergeant Theophilos' enthusiasm to educate Tinker's five wings led to him facilitating five Human Relations Education courses for 115 personnel.

Furthermore, a true military ambassador and community advocate, Sergeant Theophilos volunteered four hours setting up for the F5 Tinker Turbulence Musicfest and Resiliency Day attended by more than 700 personnel.
