Around Tinker: Teamwork, execution lead to Wildcatter Award Published Jan. 14, 2016 By 72nd Air Base Wing TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 72nd Air Base Wing Inspector General Red Carpet Team of Paul Logan, Scott Lindsey and Jonny Conover was recently awarded the 72nd Air Base Wing Commander's Wildcatter Award. The trio performed exceptional execution of the 72nd ABW Red Carpet Plan for the 2015 Air Force Materiel Command Inspector General's Unit Effectiveness Inspection. The team developed an intricate communications and computer plan for housing 159 members at the AFMC/IG work center to include a wireless network and printing capabilities on multi-function devices. These dedicated gentlemen coordinated for more than 60 vehicles in the base-wide vehicle recall plan and established and cordoned numerous reserved IG parking stanchions around the installation. The team created and led 12 Airmen in a flawless shuttle plan for 159 IG members and augmentees to and from Will Rogers World Airport to Tinker on a continuous basis for two weeks during the UEI, not one piece of luggage or member was left behind. This team is a shining example of service before self and excellence in performing duties outside normal daily operations.
