Aircraft engine mechanics needed at Tinker AFB Published Dec. 3, 2015 By Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla -- Tinker AFB has a critical need for journeyman level Aircraft Engine Mechanics. An Informational Briefing for that specific occupation will be held on Tuesday evening, December 08 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Tom Steed Center at Rose State College. The same briefing will be available on Wednesday morning, December 09 from 09 - 11 a.m. for interested individuals that cannot attend the evening before. Attendees must have experience performing the full range of jet engine mechanic duties and inspecting all stages of engine overhaul operations with little to no supervision, which must be specified in the applicant's resume.
