Tinker, Eaker Gates returning to normal operations Nov. 23 Published Nov. 13, 2015 By Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- On Nov. 23, Tinker Air Force Base personnel and visitors should anticipate changes to the current traffic flow at the Tinker and Eaker Gates. The construction on Interstate 40, Air Depot Boulevard and Southeast 29th Street is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 22. With the construction complete, the Tinker Gate operational hours will revert back to being open 24 hours a day. Eaker Gate will be open between 6 and 8 a.m. only. The Tinker Visitor Control Center, Pass and Identification Office located outside the Tinker Gate on Air Depot Boulevard will maintain current operating hours, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Motorists are advised to be aware of the new traffic signals, additional lanes and new traffic patterns on Air Depot Boulevard immediately outside the Tinker Gate.
