Varsity basketball heats up Published Oct. 30, 2015 By John Parker Staff Writer TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The varsity Tinker Hawks will play their first home game Saturday, while sports officials are asking intramural teams to get ready for the new season. The Hawks will play opponents McConnell AFB and Whiteman AFB on Saturday at the Gerrity Fitness Center. The teams are part of the Central U.S. Military Basketball Conference. Tinker will play McConnell at 11 a.m. Saturday and 3:30 Sunday; McConnell will play Whiteman at 1 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday; Tinker will face Whiteman at 3 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
