Base tests readiness with exercises
Lisa Kuefler, with Emergency Management, and Senior Airman Luis Villalva, from Bioenvironmental Engineering, monitor readings on their equipment for volatile organic compounds, air quality levels and radiation levels inside a simulated dining facility that held a suspected biological hazard (plague) during last week’s CBRNE exercise. The suits they are wearing are Level A with SCBA, a fully encapsulated suit, which is the highest level of Personal Protective Equipment. The team conducted an All-Hazards approach to ensure no other risks were present. (Air Force photo by Kelly White/Released)
