Three members of the 72nd Air Base Wing were recently honored with Wildcatter Awards.

Diana Cramer, 72nd ABW Civil Engineer Directorate, has performed above and beyond her primary duties during the past two years by coordinating all outreach activities for CE and ensuring that Tinker and CE are always reflected in a positive and professional manner.

Ms. Cramer was instrumental in planning and coordinating 2014 Earth Day events at Bldg. 3001 and the Base Exchange, where she actively promoted base environmental programs to employees and residents. She worked closely with energy program personnel to facilitate the basewide Energy Awareness program and hosted an Energy Expo. Her efforts in this area encourage base personnel to conserve energy and result in direct cost savings for the government.

Ms. Cramer has coordinated all supervisor development program and employee enhancement tours and briefings for the Civil Engineer Directorate; participant feedback indicates that this is one of the most informative and interesting tours of base organizations. In the past year, Ms. Cramer has taken over as facility coordinator for the Hill Conference Center and has spearheaded repairs and upgrade of the facility, making it a much improved venue for base meetings/conferences and increasing the usage rate from only 50 percent to  90 percent.

Senior Airman Tino Rodriguez, 72nd Comptroller Squadron, has performed his duties as a Financial Management customer service technician in a superior manner. During a spike in separations and retirements a large number of them being short notice due to fiscal 2014 Force Management programs, he audited more than 700 separation and retirement payments in excess of $3.5 million allowing a smooth transition into civilian life. His attention to detail has led to process changes reducing military pay rejects allowing military members to be paid accurately and timely.

Airman Rodriguez is a team player and freely shares his expertise with his fellow Airmen by providing in- depth training on quality examination processes.

On a daily basis he skillfully multitasks between managing rejects, management notices, auditing military pay transactions and answering LeaveWeb questions. He has manually reconciled more than 7,000 leaves enabling correct leave balances in LeaveWeb. His Wingman attitude and genuine enthusiasm for each process he takes on is always evidenced by his final product.

Margaret McKnight, 72nd CPTS, performs her duties as a civilian pay technician for 14,500 civilians while leading 400 timekeepers in executing $1.1 billion in payroll annually. During this time, she helped identify and resolve more than 1,000 debts caused by the 1 percent pay raise for Wage Grade employees.

Her in-depth knowledge of the civilian payroll procedures and regulations made her the ideal trainer for two newly assigned personnel in the section.

She most recently demonstrated her skills by completing a pay computation that spans over a five year period with multiple step increase issues. Her efforts to correct the errors resulted in the employee receiving back pay for more than $4,500. Ms. McKnight's knowledge and diligence in working tough issues is why she's known throughout the base as the civilian pay expert.
