Legal office changes over to appointment system June 15 Published June 6, 2015 By Tinker Legal Office TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Starting on June 15, legal assistance will be scheduled by appointment through the base legal office. Appointments can be made now up to two weeks in advance in person or by phone at 739-5811. Walk-ins will be seen only if there is an imminent emergency and an attorney is available. Wills still require two appointments; one appointment to consult with an attorney and a second to execute the will. The will worksheet on the Air Force Legal Assistance website must be completed before scheduling an appointment to prepare a will. The website can be found at https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil. A confirmation number is generated when the will worksheet is completed. Customers must provide the confirmation number to front desk personnel when scheduling an appointment. On the day of the appointment, plan on having approximately one hour to have your will drafted, proofread and edited. Finally, will executions are conducted every Tuesday. The legal office will schedule an appointment for wills to be executed when customers arrive for their initial appointment. These changes will enable us to better serve the Tinker community and the legal office looks forward to assisting everyone.
