ODOT plans construction work near Tinker Gate Published May 15, 2015 By Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, OKLA. -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation plans to begin construction on projects designed to improve traffic flow at the Interstate 40 and Air Depot Boulevard interchange, including work on SE 29th Street, as early as this summer. Base officials are working closely with the department to ensure Tinker personnel are informed about the associated impacts to employees and residents. Tinker personnel should anticipate that the project will drive modifications to the current traffic flow at the Tinker Gate (1) and Eaker Gate (2) during the different construction phases. Specific details will be provided once a start date has been determined by ODOT. Tinker officials will keep their workforce and residents up-to-date about these impacts through official communications, Tinker's social media site, the Tinker Take Off weekly newspaper and all other available media.
