CFC donations top $500,000 Published Oct. 31, 2014 By John Parker Staff Writer TINKER AIR FORCE BASE - Okla. -- Early donors across Tinker Air Force Base have contributed $518,062 to the Combined Federal Campaign, pushing the charity drive to 43 percent of its $1.2 million goal in the first three weeks. Base drive coordinator Capt. Benjamin Quigley said the official tally is as of Oct. 24. More contributions have been rolling in this week, he said. "There are hundreds of charities available to donate to and anyone could find some worthy cause to support. Keep going!," Captain Quigley said. More than twice as many donors so far have contributed by signing up online, rather than the traditional pledge cards, he said. "It's really catching on this year," the captain said. The campaign continues through Nov. 15. The official Tinker goal is $1,208,728.81. Pledge forms are available through organizations' designated CFC key workers. Donors can sign up online through MyPay at https://mypay.dfas .mil/mypay.aspx. Visit www.cfc-central.org for information about charities and CFC giving codes.
