A good sign for CFC: Breakfast donations top last year’s total Published Oct. 23, 2014 By John Parker Staff Writer TINKER AIR FORCE BASE - Okla. -- The kickoff breakfasts for the Combined Federal Campaign lured in $2,400 in donations to launch what's been an outstanding campaign so far, said 1st Lt. Travis Hough, co-coordinator for the base drive. The total exceeds last year's donations of approximately $1,800 by one-third, according to news stories. Tinker Air Force Base leaders served hundreds of hungry military and civilian personnel at pancake breakfasts Oct. 1 and 3 at Bldgs. 3001 and 460, while the 552nd Air Control Wing served breakfast burritos. The Tinker campaign goal this year is a little over $1.2 million. Halfway through the campaign that's scheduled to end Nov. 15, Lieutenant Hough said "everything's been going outstandingly well." "The reception of the campaign so far has been great," he added.
