AROUND TINKER: Chief's Choice Published Oct. 16, 2014 By Staff Report Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE - Okla. -- September's "Chief's Choice" Award presentation by the Tinker Chief's Group recognized two of Tinker's finest: Tech. Sgt. Katherine M. Hardy from the Air Force Flight Standards Agency, Airfield Management Division, and Staff Sgt. Matthew L. Nolting, of the Air Force Flight Standards Agency, CONUS Regional Maintenance Center. Sergeant Hardy's praiseworthy accomplishments while serving as an Air Force Airfield Management Operations, Procedures and Training Technician enabled the successful training and development of more than 2,000 military and civilian airfield management personnel, which greatly enhanced the mission effectiveness and safety of 182 airfields worldwide. Sergeant Nolting's superb dedication to duty as lead CONUS RMC technician ensured he excelled in all facets of his duties while servicing more than 70 airfield systems across the CONUS and markedly during the recent commissioning of an instrument landing system at Buckley AFB. The Chief's Choice Award identifies those outstanding individuals that have stepped up with consistent professionalism, leadership and devotion to duty while providing that positive role model to peers and supervisors alike.
