Boards to consider officers for separation

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Force shaping boards will consider active-duty officers with more than three but less than six years of commissioned service as of Dec. 31, 2014, for separation.

The boards will target career fields and year groups based on sustainment levels.

Details for implementation of two fiscal 2014 officer force management programs are being finalized to allow Air Force officials to release eligibility criteria, Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

Details regarding the reduction in force board, coupled with voluntary separation pay, and the force shaping board are expected to be released within the next week.
