Tinker civilian retirees need new IDs starting Jan. 1 Published Dec. 20, 2013 By Kimberly Woodruff Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Beginning Jan. 1, Department of Defense civilian retirees need to have a new ID card to access base. The previous card, Air Force Form 354, is a legacy installation access ID, and will be discontinued. According to Tech. Sgt. Daniel Strothers in the 72nd Security Forces Squadron, Jan. 1 is the cut off for the old cards. Security Forces personnel will confiscate the AF Form 354 and will issue a receipt. "Those wanting to access the base will take the receipt to the ID Card/DEERS Office in Bldg. 460 and get the new ID card. This has all been sent down by the Air Force Personnel Center," he said.
