Realistic Training on Tinker No Cause for Alarm Published Oct. 25, 2013 By Tinker Public Affairs 72nd ABW/PA TINKER AFB -- In the coming weeks, the Tinker Fire Department will be conducting numerous training exercises at various times throughout the base and in particular, the vicinity of Chidlaw Ave. Please do not be alarmed if you see the harmless artificial smoke and fire trucks performing these exercises as this simply our firefighters preparing for an upcoming inspection. You will see signs posted in the road indicating the firefighters are training. Please try to avoid the area immediately around the fire trucks.
