CFC suspended: Donations still accepted via 'My Pay' Published Oct. 17, 2013 By Brandice J. O'Brien Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Combined Federal Campaign is in uncharted territory; postponed within the Department of Defense until the federal government passes a funding bill. Despite fundraising events being on hold, military members and federal service employees can still donate through the My Pay online program. And, people are still donating. "Federal employees are tremendously generous people. They are consistently generous people who care about their communities and want to make an impact where they live and work," said Michael Slack, CFC director. "While it's hard to pause a campaign and restart, we agree this is not the right time to be on base asking folks to contribute to charities especially in this difficult time. We are happy to restart once things in the federal government become a bit more stable." When an individual logs into the My Pay online program, there is a Combined Federal Campaign, or CFC, option under "Pay Changes." By clicking on the link, military members and civilians can make a donation through payroll beginning in January and ending in December 2014. Military members will be asked to enter a CFC code. The Central Oklahoma CFC code is 0712, which enables them to select from charities in the local area. Civilians are already entered into the Oklahoma system. Donors can select up to 30 charities, but are required to pledge a minimum of $2 per pay period per charity.
